Nayland Driving School is owned and founded by Michael Sargent.
Michael is a highly experienced ORDIT registered DVSA (Driving Vehicle Standards Agency) approved Driving Instructor.
Having previously worked as an instructor in Colchester for a large, nationally-known driving school, he started his own company, Nayland Driving School, 10 years ago to cater for local pupils.
A decade on and Nayland Driving School has expanded to meet demand and now has instructors working across the country, in locations including Colchester, Ipswich, Felixstowe and Bolton. Despite this growth, we still retain our personalised experience. We have each and every learner drivers’ teaching experience and their success in learning to drive in our heart, and we are with you every turn of the wheel.
The majority of our instructors were internally trained with Nayland Instructor Training, and we have 20 registered instructors that cover the South East, with a mixture of both male and female DBS checked instructors available to take lessons. The majority of our instructors have been with us for 5 years, and they are all passionate and experienced in providing the very best driving conditions for our learner drivers, whether they are completely new or taking refresher courses.
Our driving instructors are predominantly manual drivers, with the exception of automatic driving lessons being taken in Colchester.
Our ultimate aim is to teach new drivers safe driving skills for life, and this is our commitment to you. Supportive instructors, mock tests and free theory study all contribute to our impressive pass rate.
