Everything You Need to Know About Learning Remotely
Are you looking to complete Part 3 of your driving instructor training? Then you will love our online driving instructor course. Here is everything you need to know about learning remotely, and what benefits it could offer you.
Who is the training for?
First of all, who is our online driving instructor training for? Our remote sessions are for those who have completed Part 2 of their training. To gain a trainee licence, you must complete 40 hours after you have passed Part 2. You can train online as part of your 40 hours, although a number of those 40 hours must be in the car. Most people aim to complete their training by passing within 6 months, which gives you time to fit in up to 3 attempts if necessary. In our experience, most trainees sit their first attempt after 3 months of learning. Many pass the first time – but everyone is different! That’s why we provide tailored support every step of the way.
What you will learn
So how is our online driving instructor training delivered? We have over 20 hours of training materials for you to take advantage of all of which will help to lay the foundation for your success as an instructor. During your virtual training, you will learn how to:
- Structure a driving lesson
- Deal with different learners and their needs
- Tailor your teaching style to suit each pupil
- Develop Q and A techniques
- Teach different subjects
- Watch the learner
How is the training delivered?
Our online driving instructor training is delivered in groups, so you will get to connect with other trainee driving instructors, comparing experiences, and learning from each other. We also recognise that some trainees really benefit from one-on-one sessions, which is why we also offer an additional 1:2:1 service. This includes our innovative virtual lessons. You will take a learner driver out for a lesson and film it – and then we will provide clear, honest feedback. Consider it something of a mock test! So, with a wide range of lesson styles available, you will be able to customise your training to suit your needs and learning style.
Training that fits around your schedule
One of the biggest reasons to take your driving instructor training online is the flexibility that it offers. Many of the trainee instructors that learn with us have busy lives, fitting in their learning around job and family commitments. Being able to log on and study when and where it suits you will make your training so much more accessible. Plus, our online learning is easy to understand, and support is provided as and when you need it. Whether you are an independent learner or require guidance, we’re here to help.
