Picking Up and Dropping Off in Sudbury

We can arrange for you to be picked up prior to your lesson in Sudbury and you will then take the wheel to head over to the area you plan to book your driving test in. Before the lesson ends, you’ll head back to Sudbury, if that is what you wish, so you’ll have the opportunity to not only experience the test centre location and surrounding areas but also the local roads around where you live or work. Mock Driving Tests

You’ll be offered the opportunity to take a mock test during your driving lessons. Not only will this help you to get to know the process of taking a test, but you’ll also feel more comfortable when the time comes, which gives you a better chance of success. The instructor will start the lesson in exactly the same way an examiner would start the test, they’ll explain how the mock test works, what they’ll be assessing you on and what you’ll be required to do during the drive. It’s all great preparation for when the real test comes around!

What happens on your first driving lesson?

In your first driving lesson, you’ll meet your driving instructor and you’ll be introduced to the car’s controls where you’ll learn about clutch control and how to safely move off and stop. Don’t forget to bring your provisional licence with you on your first lesson to show your instructor – failure to do means you won’t be able to drive!

How many hours does it take to pass a driving test?

The number of hours it takes to pass your driving test will depend on how quickly you pick it up. Some drivers may need less, and some drivers may need more. There’s no set number of hours to pass in, so take your time and build your confidence up first.

How much does a driving lesson cost?
