Here at Nayland Driving School, we guide a large number of trainee driving instructors to success, with a combination of in-car training, free study materials, and our online driving instructor course.
Your training
First of all, how many stages are there to train to be a driving instructor? It’s a little bit different from gaining your driving licence, where you had to take a theory and then a practical test. If you want to become a driving instructor, then you will need to complete three separate stages of training. These are:
- Theory test (ADI Part 1)
- Driving ability test (ADI Part 2)
- Instructional ability test (ADI Part 3)
Each one of these will demonstrate your ability to teach pupils safely and effectively, and they are some of the most challenging driving exams out there. After all, being a great instructor means showing that you are a cut above the rest!
