Flexible Lessons to Suit You

We understand that our learner drivers have busy schedules, and finding the time to squeeze in driving lessons can be hard. All of our driving instructors are self-employed and set their own hours, so if you want to take lessons early in the morning, later on in the evening, or at weekends, you don’t need to worry about any 9-5 schedule.

When you get in touch with us to arrange your driving lessons, tell us what times are good for you. Then we will be able to match you with an instructor who works when you need them to, so you can learn when and where it suits you. You’ll have the same instructor throughout the course of your lessons, and you’ll really benefit from that consistency.

How often should I take lessons?

We recommend that our learner drivers have 1-2 hours of lessons a week, but we appreciate that sometimes time and budget constraints don’t allow for that. Your driving instructor will be able to put together a schedule that works for you, so you can progress with your lessons at a pace that you’re comfortable with.

A lot of people are nervous before their first driving lesson – and that’s totally normal. After all, if you’ve never driven a car before, you’ll have no idea what to expect. During your first lesson, you’ll be introduced to all of the controls, and then taught how to pull away and brake safely. All of our learner cars have dual controls for your peace of mind.

Remember to bring your provisional driving license – your instructor will need to see it before you get started!

The DVSA says that most learner drivers need 45 hours of driving lessons under their belt to take their practical test, along with 22 hours of practice. However, this can vary from person to person, and you and your instructor will know when it’s time for you to take your test. We pride ourselves on our great pass rate, and there’s every chance you could pass your test first time!
