This really depends on you, if you learn manual you will be able to drive both manual and automatic cars, but if you learn automatic then you will only be permitted to drive an automatic car. Automatic cars are becoming increasingly popular in the UK and it is becoming a choice for more learners. Just be aware, you will still need an understanding of a manual car for your theory test!
